TRAMPA's unique spring adjuster, made from marine grade stainless steel, is guaranteed to be rust-free! After inserting the springs into the trucks, the spring adjuster is mounted to pre-tension the steering according to the rider's needs. Our spring adjuster is shorter than those of other brands to prevent the end from protruding through the spring retainer and thus affecting the performance of the DAMPA located on the other side of the retainer.
For fast riding or on twisty tracks, the steering resistance can be quickly and easily adjusted by simply turning the adjuster. Using a 4mm Allen key, turning the adjuster to the right stiffens the steering, reducing wobble at high speeds. Turning the adjuster to the left loosens the steering for a more dynamic riding experience.
Do not overtighten the spring adjuster, as this could damage the DAMPA. If more steering resistance is needed, replace the DAMPAs instead of overtightening!
